UGTHESIS Bachelor of Science in Social Work University of Rizal System Rodriguez, Rizal
The purpose of this research paper is to investigate and determine the students' working experiences and circumstances. Then, learn about the obstacles they face and how they deal with and cope with them. Furthermore, this study explores the advantages and disadvantages of working while studying, as well as their coping mechanisms for dealing with the challenges they confront as working students. Poverty, financial freedom, and the desire to gain early work experience are among the motivating reasons for students who are working while studying at university. The findings also show that the advantage of working while studying is that students can fund their education and buy their needs and wants. On the other hand, its disadvantages are that students who juggle work and studies feel stressed, tired, challenged, and sleep-deprived. They also experience missed lessons and less time for studying. Moreover, it shows that the most effective way of overcoming the problems they encounter is through good time management, positive thinking, trusting oneself, remembering one's family, dreams, and the Almighty God. The last part of the research is intended to ask participants about their suggestions and recommendations. Among the suggestions are that students who decide to work must know how to manage their time well and to prioritize their studies.
