520 _aThis study of the researchers entitled "Development and Acceptability of Management Information System for the Little Children's Home Taytay, Rizal" aims to improve the management, optimize the flow of service and lessen the papers used. The system is designed as user-friendly so the social worker can easily understand it. The Development of Management Information System for the Little Children's Home serves as an appeal of orphanage for improving and increasing the process that is based on the belief that it can be improve to computer application with additional advantages. Practices known to be effective for instructional design and managing for all the matter involve could be applied to computer programs. The proposed system will help the social worker to manage the various important records controlled by the Little Children's Home of Taytay, Rizal, it can be used to consolidate into one comprehensive system, and eliminating much of the manual manipulation of data presently requires the data reports of children's. The proposed system was developed using Vb.net for programming language and MS SQL server 2008for the database. The researchers used the quantitative descriptive method type of research utilizing the level of acceptability. The respondents of the study is represented by a total of twenty-four (24) respondents from Little Children's Home Taytay, Rizal which are comprises of four (4) IT practitioners and twenty (20) admins ad staffs. An adopted modified questionnaire checklist was used to be able to test the level of acceptability of the proposed system of the said institution. After the system was developed, the researchers administer the evaluation and found out the level of acceptability of the developed system is acceptable by the respondents in terms of functional suitability, usability, reliability, performance efficiency, security, portability, compatibility and maintainability. Therefore, the developed Management Information System can be used by the staff of Little Children's Home for easily recording and managing the children's information and admins who records the data of the children. Based on the finding and conclusion the researchers recommended that the developed system may be implemented at Little Children's Home Taytay, Rizal; the developed system must be maintained by the IT practitioner of the institution; The developed system can be used as reference by the future researchers' The developed system is open for further improvements and additional other features by the future researchers.
