| 520 | _aEXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study was aimed to develop a three-in-one t-square. Specifically, the study attempted to design and construct three-in-one t-square and perform try-out and revisions to the said study. Furthermore, the study determined the level of acceptability of the three-in-one t-square and existing t-square, try-square and triangle in terms of functionality, usability, safety and maintainability and durability. This study also determined the significant difference on the level of acceptability between the project and existing tools in terms of the above-mentioned variables. Lastly, the study determined the level of performance of the developed three-in-one t-square in terms of accuracy and speed. Moreover, this study designed, developed and constructed out of locally available materials. The researchers considered several factors in designing the object, such as availability of potential materials. By seeking the aid of the expert, the researchers successfully finished the construction of the three-in-one t-square. The developed project was tested for operations, were different flaws and shortcomings was observed. Several defects were found, and through try-out and revisions method, the three-in-one t-square reached its functional output and attained its objectives. Furthermore, in the level of acceptability of the developed three-in-one t-square, in terms of functionality, usability, safety and maintainability and durability found to be much accepted than the existing tools based on the respondents. In terms of level acceptability, it got a significant difference between the developed three-in-one t-square and the existing t-square, try-square, and triangle in terms of the above-mentioned variables. In the level of performance, the three-in-one t-square found not fast but very accurate in constructing geometric figure, orthographic, isometric and oblique drawing. Lastly, based from all the results, the researchers concluded that additional studies using other evaluation instruments may be conducted to enhance further the design and other parts of the device. | ||
