520 _aEXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop portable drill support. Specifically this study sought to design and construct portable drill support, perform try-out and revision, evaluate the acceptability of portable drill support in terms of functionality, design, durability and safety and maintenance. Moreover, this research also studied the level of performance in terms of speed, adaptability, accuracy and to develop user's manual intended for this project. It was conducted at the university of rizal system, morong campus during s.y. 2018-2019. On the design and construction of the portable drill support, the proponents had brainstorming to improve the design and functionality of the project. The researchers constructed device out of locally available materials. Try-out and revision was also done by the researchers during the construction period of the portable drill support. Through try-out and revision, the project reached the functional output and attained its purpose after revising the different defects found. The acceptability of the device in terms of functionality, it was verbally interpreted as very functional as evaluated by the respondents. In terms of design, the device got a verbal interpretation of outstanding as evaluated by the respondents, in terms of design, the device got a verbal interpretation of outstanding as evaluated by the respondents, in terms of durability, the device obtained a verbal interpretation as extremely durable as evaluated by the respondents, and in terms of safety and maintenance, the device attained a verbal interpretation of extremely safe and maintain as evaluated by the respondents. On the level of performance in terms of speed, the device attained verbally interpretation of very fast, in terms of adaptability the device got a verbal interpretation of not capable and in terms of accuracy the device obtained a verbal interpretation of very accurate. The proponents of the study developed a user's manual consisting of different component parts such as the operating procedures, safety precaution and maintenance procedure. The user's manual found out to be useful in operating the said device.
