| 520 | _aThe Project Development Report entitled Levi's Hog Fattening Project. The "Levi" was derived from the name of the proponents to easily recognize the owner of the project. The project was conducted in one cycle operation, which was started on August 27, 2018 and was terminated on December 23, 2018. The operation was managed by the proponents namely Keren Kate T Lerio and Nicasio A. Vipinosa III. It was implemented at Mt Pinatubo Amityville, San Jose Rodriguez, Rizal. The site had an existing pigpen, electricity, and water supply. The area of the pen was six square meter (6.0m²) with a dimension of three meters (3m) by two meters (2m). The space requirement of point seventy- five square meters (0.75m²) per head for hog made the area suited for the project. Supplies like feeds and vitamins, medicines cleaning materials such as dustpan, broomstick, chlorine, detergents and other materials used for the implementation of the project were canvassed and purchased at Montalban Poultry Supply and San Jose Public Market. A week before transferring the stocks to the pen the proponents did the cleaning and disinfection of the pigpen. The canvassing, selection and purchasing of stocks was done at Relocation, Amityville San Jose Rodriguez, Rizal. The proponents purchased the stocks on September 7, 2018. The stocks were composed of eight (😎 heads crossbred of Landrace and Duroc. The cost per head of hog was two thousand | ||
