520 _aThis research aims to investigate the learning competencies of social studies students at the University of Rizal System Rodriguez Campus during the academic year 2023-2024. To determine how different demographic factors affect students' social studies performance, the study looks at age, gender, academic year level, and monthly income. The study investigates students' competency levels in several cognitive areas using Revised Bloom's Taxonomy as a framework. The research addresses several key questions: 1) What are the demographic characteristics of social studies students at the University of Rizal System Rodriguez Campus? 2) How do students fare in social studies across various learning competency levels? 3) What elements affect students' social studies performance, such as academic year level, gender, age, and monthly income? According to the study's hypothesis, academic year level is a major predictor of demographic factors that may have a considerable impact on students' social studies performance. The methodology involves a descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing diagnostic tests and surveys to collect data from a sample size of 32 social studies students. The sample is selected using Slovin's formula, ensuring representation across different academic year levels and demographic characteristics. Statistical analysis, including Spearman's rank correlation coefficient and analysis of variance (ANOVA), is employed to examine relationships between variables and assess their significance. All things considered, this study offers insightful information about the learning dynamics of social studies students, emphasizing both their strengths and weaknesses. The results have consequences for the creation of curricula, methods of instruction, and educational policies meant to improve the learning outcomes of social studies students.
