520 _aThis study sought to develop a validated learning guide in Basic Drafting Technology (TLE 9) subject. The study was conducted during school year 2013 -2014. The respondents were the instructors/professors of drafting technology of the College of Education in University of Rizal System -Morong Campus. The study utilized the descriptive method of research using a questionnaire checklist as the main instrument in gathering the necessary data. The frequency and percentage distribution, weighted mean and standard deviation were used to know the profile of the respondents and F-test (One way Anova) was utilized to treat the data statistically. Majority of the respondents in terms of age belong to age bracket of 46 and above. When in terms of educational attainment each respondent differ to each other, 1 respondent was a college graduate with 22 years in service, while the other one has a master's degree with 24 years in teaching career and the last one has a doctorate degree with 28 years of teaching experience. Weighted mean and standard deviation was used to determine the acceptability of the developed learning guide in terms of objective, relevance, format and style, and usability. Based on the findings, the objectives of the developed learning guide ranked first and obtained a computed mean of 4.59 and a standard deviation of 577 was verbally interpreted as very much accepted. Relevance ranked second with a computed mean of 4.09 and a standard deviation of 789 with a verbal interpretation as much accepted. In terms of format and style all agreed that is much accepted with a computed mean of 4.00 and a standard deviation of 789 with a verbal interpreted as much accepted. In terms of usability, the findings revealed that it was accepted with a computed mean of 3.83 and standard deviation of .394. The average mean was 4.18 with standard deviation of 637 and verbally interpreted as Much Accepted. This implies that the learning guide as assessed by the faculty respondents will be useful in developing skills and attitudes of the students which are essential to effective learning.
