| 520 | _aThis study was conducted to find out the Employability of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration in the University of Rizal System. The study determined the graduates' profile in terms of age, sex, civil status, highest educational attainment, professional examination passed and year graduated, respondents' description in terms of type of employment, status of employment, type of industry, type of organization, tools in acquiring the current job, manner in getting the job, job search time, present position, name of the company/organization, present monthly income; whether or not the BSOA curriculum is relevant in the respondents' first job; the difficulties encountered by the respondents in looking for their first job; How do the respondents perceive the usefulness of the knowledge and skills learned from the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration program; Type of Self-employment, What are the reasons of the respondents for being self-employed; What are the reasons of the respondents for being unemployed; the suggestions of the respondents for the improvement of the University of Rizal System in terms of, services, course curriculum/facilities, and learning environment. Based on the results of the findings, the researchers concluded that the majority of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration graduates are employed and that every BSOA graduate's employment is associated with their field of expertise. Likewise, the knowledge and skills learned from their program are useful in their present job and have a significant contribution to their employment. The College of Business may consider having their own computer laboratory and computer software training for the BSOA program to enhance the students' technology skills. The graduates may take professional examination to help in developing their career. The college should work on improving the confidence of the students in taking exams. | ||
