520 _aThis study aimed to determine the Training Needs Analysis of Barangay Councilmen of Selected Barangays in Binangonan, Rizal. Descriptive method of research was used. Questionnaire-checklist was utilized as the instrument in gathering data and basis for finding out the. difference between the personal profiles of the respondents and their perception of the Training Needs Analysis of Barangay Councilmen. Various statistical treatments, including frequency, percentage and rank distribution, were employed to establish the profile of the respondents. The researchers used a weighted mean to determine the respondents' perception, and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was utilized to identify significant differences in the respondents' perception regarding the Training Needs Analysis of Barangay Councilmen based on their personal profile. The findings regarding the personal profile of the respondents indicate that the majority fall within the age range of 41-50 years old, predominantly male, and married in civil status. Additionally, most have attained a college level of education with a length of service that ranges from 1-6 years with a gross monthly income of Php. 15,001- Php. 20,000. With regards to the perception of the respondents Training Needs Analysis of Barangay Councilmen in Selected Barangay of Binangonan, Rizal, In terms of Knowledge, with a General Average mean of 2.74 and verbal interpretation of Uncertain. In terms of Skills, with General Average mean of 2.93 and verbal interpretation of Uncertain. In terms of Abilities, with General Average mean of 2.18 and verbally interpreted as Disagree. The study further revealed that there is a significant difference in the perception of the respondents regarding the variable Abilities. Abilities based on their civil status. Conversely, no significant differences were found in the respondents' perception concerning variables Skills and Knowledge for age, sex, highest educational attainment, length of service, and gross monthly income. Based on the findings of the study, the researchers concluded that the overall perception of Training needs Analysis of Barangay Councilmen is positive. However, there are specific areas in Abilities that require training. Additionally, further research is needed to explore other factors that may influence the training program. For the recommendations, the respective barangay captains of each barangays should have their Barangay Councilmen attend regular training. workshops, seminars and/or conferences that tackles topics about local governance, community development, budgeting, disaster response, and etc. In order to help their Barangay Councilmen advance their knowledge and abilities, barangay captains should also encourage them to engage in certain activities. It is imperative to provide sufficient resources and assistance to Barangay Councilmen to enable them to perform their duties with efficiency. Lastly, in order to aid their Barangay Councilmen, become more proficient, barangay captains had to give them feedback.
