520 _aEXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to design and construct a Modified Magnetic-Based Generator, perform tryout and revision, determine the level of acceptability of the device in terms of design, functionality, portability, safety and maintenance. It further aimed to determines the level of performance of the device with the respect to voltage output and current output. The device was constructed out locally available materials. The design of the modified magnetic-based generator can be developed out of locally available materials. Bill of materials were prepared, listing of tools and materials were prepared as basis and guide for constructing the project, tool and equipment were also set up in building the said project. The Modified Magnetic-Based Generator was tested for operation where troubles are served and revised. Through the try-out and revision, the project reached the functional output and attained the project objectives. The result shows that respondents accepted the modified magnetic-based generator in the level of acceptability in terms design, functionality, portability, safety and maintenance that demonstrates even more how the respondents agreed that the project is both safe to use and operates effectively. It implies that the developed device can be utilized and it can perform effectively as an electrical power generator. It implies that the created device can be used and function well as a generator of electrical power. On the level of performance of the Modified Magnetic-Based Generator with the respect to voltage output and current time it was found out that the magnetic generator as the prime mover does generate electricity because there is no voltage output since prime mover does nor move according to expectations. The researchers made use of the dummy DC motor as prime mover to test if the DC generator attached to the magnetic generator can produce voltage output and current output.
