| 520 | _aAccessing printing services in public spaces, such as libraries and schools can often be inconvenient. For this reason, the researchers developed a coin-operated smart printing machine that leads to an innovative solution that addresses the common limitations in accessing printing facilities, which frequently cause trouble to users. the Coin-operated Smart Printing Machine offers a user-friendly and seamless printing experience to meet people's printing needs in various settings. Its design prioritizes ese of use to ensure a smooth printing process. The researchers' machine was made with Arduino Uno R3 as its microcontroller, coin slot to drop coins for payment, coin hopper for dispensing change, printer, and mini desktop for the user interface to manipulate the printing process. This study aimed to develop and determine the acceptability of a Coin-Operated Smart Printing Machine in terms of design, functionality, accuracy, security, and maintenance. The researchers used the T-test method to compare the means of two samples and assess whether the differences were statistically significant. The level of acceptability of the developed machine was very much accepted in terms of design, functionality, accuracy, security, and maintenance as it projected a grand mean of 4.81 for experts and 4.78 for end-users. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in the respondents' perception of the level of acceptability of the machine in terms of the variable mentioned. This study can be subjected to further development and improvement by future researchers. | ||
