520 _aThe study aimed to analyze the movie Kita Kita by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo and determined why it became the highest grossing indie film by looking on the relevance of its whole content. The movie of Ms. Sigrid Andrea Bernardo became the researchers' material for careful analysis and interpretation. The author's purpose, content, orientation, standard of writing, description, significance, and appropriateness of the movie have proved to be interesting data for analysis. Kita kita movie is basically an interesting movie to watch. From its catchy title, unlikely couple to be your lead, and a totally different concept and story. Sigrid Andrea Bernardo's Kita Kita is not really all about social issues it's really just about their love story and having an ability rather than focusing on your disability. The topics are focused mainly on love and relationship wherein some eases love is really blind. This movie touches the very core of the heart. It shows the power of kindness, acceptance, and selfless love. It teaches us that good things can happen if only we have the patience to wait. It demonstrate how love can transform our lives if only we have courage to be open and if we allow someone to see us for who we really are. It seems like a happy beginning turns bitter, then sweet and sad toward the end. The film was going to break old rules, it spots for a resolution where the beauty of a woman is measured in terms of good looks and not a good heart. Here, the viewers are rooting for the man who once was a loser, only for the story-teller to snap the hope out of them. In line with the analysis, the following Conclusions were drawn: The researchers found out the reason why Kita kita became the highest grossing indie film is because of its all elements, taken individually, and it shouldn't have been red flags at the box office. They took two fairly popular actors and put them together for an unlikely romantic pairing. There was no colorful support ensemble, no comic relief to help the main story chug along. Just these two characters and a simple script that did not bristle with "hugot one-liners that audience can catch on to and retweet. The writer also killed the leading man in the middle of the film. There was no happily ever after. Based on the analysis and conclusion of the study, the recommendations are hereby offered for those people who experienced heart aches most especially Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), that continuously shown the culture of a Filipino where ever they are.
