The study was conducted at Subay and Bombong Elementary Schools during the Academic Year 2022–2023. To determine the required number of respondents and gather data for this study, the researchers used the total enumeration technique. The study made use of the Least Mastered Skills (LMS) of Grade 2 learners as the basis for the development of JELYDAJOY as intervention material in mathematics for Grade 2 learners. The researchers used the descriptive-developmental method of research to develop the intervention material in Mathematics for Grade 2 learners. The researchers used mean and qualitative discussion as statistical tools in the study. To gather the data required for the investigation, the researchers used an adopted questionnaire checklist to gather the necessary data for the study. The results of the study of JELYDAJOY as an intervention material in Mathematics for Grade 2 learners were very highly acceptable as evaluated by the experts As reflected in the objectives, content language and style, usefulness and appropriateness were very highly acceptable Thus, the researchers concluded that the developed intervention material in Mathematics for Grade 2 learners can give teachers the chance to fill in areas where the necessary instructional materials are regarded as having deficiencies and give learners the chance to master those skills that they were not able to develop in their normal classes. It can also provide variety of lessons, which teachers can use to meet the learning lag of learners, improve the current teaching and learning process, and motivate and encourage learners to master those topics.
