520 _aThis study primarily aimed to determine the Budget Planning and Control Strategies of Registered Home-based Baker in the First District of Rizal Calendar Year 2021. This study used descriptive method of research that utilized a qualitative research design through online survey, specifically, with the use of Google Forms, through a validated interview questionnaire. The questionnaire is composed of three sections: respondents' personal profile, business profile and questions with regards to how the respondents perceived the budget planning and control strategies used in their businesses. To determine the respondents" personal and business profile, percentage and rank distribution were applied. To assess the budget planning and control strategies of registered home-based bakers, the study utilized a weighted mean. Purposive sampling was used which included 50 selected home-based bakers in Angono, Binangonan, Cainta and Taytay, Rizal. Based on the presentation, analysis and interpretation made, it was found out that the majority of home-based bakers in the First District of Rizal agreed on the use of pricing strategies, cost-cutting and cost-benefit analysis as their basis for effective budget planning and control strategies in their businesses. In addition, results showed that most of the home- based bakers in the First District of Rizal are in the ages of 31 and 40. The majority of home-based bakers are college graduates with at least 9 years of baking experience who have been running their home-based business for 9 years and above. Furthermore, the study revealed that anyone with a capital of at least 21, 000 can start a home-based bakery and business.
