The status of the performace of the gtuidance teachers in the city schools Division of Marikina was determined in terms of the profile of guidance teachers as to the age, gender, civil status, educational attainment, seminars and trainings pertinent to guidance related work and length of service as guidance teacher. The performance of guidance teachers in the individual inventory service, information service, couseling service, placement service, testing service and follow up service as evaluated by the four group of respondents with respect to attainment of the objectives, effectiveness of the process and the condition of the outputs. Data were collected through the use of researcher adapted and modified questionnaire checklist.
