Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: Executive Summary: This study assessed the Teaching Strategies and Shop Performance among the Grade 7 students of Tanay National High School. The research was conducted at Tanay National High School during the school year 2013-2014. The respondents were the eighty eight (88) Grade 7 students selected through random sampling technique. The variable used to determine the relationship of Teaching Strategies were lecture Method, Demonstration Method, Project Method, Question and Answer Method and Brainstorming Method to the Shop Performance with respect to Beauty Care and Commercial Cooking. The study used Descriptive type of research using the questionnaire checklist as an instrument in gathering data to know the relationship of Teaching Strategies and Shop Performance among Grade 7 students of Tanay National High School. The responses were collected, tabulated and interpreted using the appropriate statistical treatment. Mean was used to determine the extent of the teaching strategies used by the teachers in terms of lecture method, demonstration method, project method, question and answer method and brainstorming method. Mean and Standard Deviation were used to assess the shop performance among Grade 7 students in relation to Beauty Care and Commercial Cooking. Pearson Product Coefficient of Correlation was used to determine the significant relationship between the Teaching Strategies used by the Teachers in terms of Lecture Method, Demonstration Method, Project Method, Question and Answer Method and Brainstorming Method to the Shop Performance among Grade 7 students in relation to beauty Care and Commercial Cooking. From the analysis of data, findings were summarized in terms of the perception of the group of respondents. Project Method and Brainstorming Method obtained the highest overall mean of 4:30 with a verbal interpretation of "very effective" followed by Demonstration Method with an overall mean o 4.25 and interpreted as "very effective". Question and Answer Method obtained an overall mean of 4.24 and interpreted as "very effective" while Lecture Method has the lowest over all mean of 4.19 interpreted as effective. Therefore there is a slight relationship between the Teaching Strategies and Shop Performance among Grade 7 Students of Tanay National High School.
