The study entitled "Production of Garlic and Longevity Spinach (Gynura Procumbens) Chips". It is committed to provide healthy and quality chips. The research was conducted during the Academic Year 2015-2016. The business will be in the form of sole proprietorship. The study aims to create a new kind of chips that made from gynura procumbens leaves. The product gives satisfaction to buyers as a result of its purchase. It includes the physical goods and services, the value in use, the package, the manufacturer`s and retailer`s services after sale service and other symbolic utility received from possession of the goods and services. Production of Gynura Procumbens Chips provides customer's expectation of high quality product. Gynura Procumbens is the main ingredients of the Chips. During pre-operating period of the business, the owner will be preparing necessary documents needed in the operation of the business. The business owner will need Php25, 000 for the initial capital. The business will open at 7:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon from Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The proposed price of the product was based on the expenses with the ingredients and on the competitors. The proponents will have effective marketing strategies such as free tasting of chips to encourage consumers to buy and patronize the product. The Gynura Procumbens Chips is a native product and an agricultural based business enterprise to promote a healthy living and lifestyle. It also aims to meet the customer`s expectation about the product. The proposed project will be a great help to the municipal government through payments of taxes to the Bureau of Internal Revenue. The goal of the business is to satisfy the needs, wants and desires of the customers. The proposed project by the researchers will contribute to the customer the product that they want with high quality. The main beneficiaries of this business will definitely be the business owner of the product. The demand for Gynura Procumbens Chips was computed by assuming that they will consume 27 packs a day of chips multiplied by 7 which is the number of days per week. Then to be multiplied again by 4, because there are 4 weeks in a month so that you can get the monthly demand. And finally, the result will be multiplied by 12 which is the total number of months per Year to get the projected annual demand. The projected supply was based on the average quantity of packs that the APA's Crisp Chips will produce every alternate day per week which is 27 packs. To get the projected supply, the numbers of packs multiply by the number of weeks. The consideration of competitors is essential because it will affect the sales and demand of the product. The researchers asked the population based on their own preferences in buying and consuming of chips considering that Gynura Procumbens Chips is not yet available in the market, "free taste" was conducted during the survey for respondents to have the consideration of consuming the proposed product within the given price as well. Researchers identify the market share of the product based on the given answers of the total sample population oout 90 respondents, 20% answered that they will buy Cassava Chips which consist of 18 respondents, 10% answered that they will buy Kangkong Chips which consist of 9 respondents, the highest percentage which is 40% answered that they will buy Potato Chips which consist of 36 respondents,16% answered for Malunggay Chips which consist of 14 respondents, and our very own Gynura Procumbens Chips that gained 14% which consist of 13 respondents. Based on the laboratory test conducted, the Gynura Procumbens Chips are safe and is edible for daily consumption. It is not contaminated and ready to eat savory. The result is negative from bacteria and can assure to provide quality and healthy chip for the market.
