Dissertation note: Feasibility Study BSBA-MM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study determined the viability and feasibility of the business. The proposed product called Cassava Crackers, which served as an alternative snack for customers in Binangonan, Rizal and for other municipalities. The owner will rent a stall in LibisBinangonan, Rizal which can be easily reached by many people. The Business Organization will be in form of sole proprietorship. The capital will finance the registration and permits (Mayor's and Sanitary permits) purchasing of office supplies, store, production equipment and the raw material that will be used to process the product. During the pre-operating period, the owner was the first personnel to do various activities. During the operating period the cook will be the responsible for the preparation of the product. The business will open fromMonday to Saturday from eight (8) o'clock in the morning to six (6) o'clock in the afternoon. The production process is estimated to be 3 days including the drying, frying, and packing of the product. In terms of supplies the production quantity is estimated to be 226 per week, 904 per month and 10,849 per Year, The production increase will be about 2% per Year base on the conducted survey results of our target market. The entire population of Binangonan, Rizal with the total of 273,221 in 2016 will be the target market of the said business. Based on the conducted survey, 62% or 62 out of 100 respondents would to have a product trial and 38% or 38 out of 100 did not to avail of these(Cassava Crackers), Based on our researches using questionnaires 45% is the total demand market share. The result of market share will divide into four 23% select Piatos, 22% for Nova, 20% for Cassava chips and 35% for undecided customer and 35%is the possible market of our firm. This was proven significant because majority of the respondent are willing to patronize our product (Cassava crackers). Based on the projected financial estimates the business will be profitable in the said location because this will be the first establishment selling Cassava Crackers in the town of Binangonan. It needs initial capital worth Php 100,000.00, it finance the registration and permits worth Php 3,182.00, for equipment Php11,585.00, utilities expense Php 10,400.00, rental expense Php 18,000.00, the remaining amount will finance the salaries of three employee, other operating expenses, and raw materials used in production. The quantity of the production in sale weekly Php 35,676.00 monthly and Php 428,082.00 Yearly Php71,347.00 and the total sales amounting of Php 8,916.00 weeklyPhp 35,676.00 monthly and Php428,082.00 Yearly. The increase of sales will be 2% based on the conducted survey for demand. It is proven that the business will be feasible and viable. The gross sales will be deducted from the total good sold or from the cost of production. The profit of the business will be used for the next operating Years. In addition, our business will not only be beneficial to others, to Binangonan folks, but, also to our government through taxes, fees, licenses and permits for legality of the said business. The taxes will serves as an additional income to our government and can be used for the welfare of the people and in the development of Philippine Economy. After considering all the aspects regarding the production of Cassava Crackers, the researchers found out that kind of business will have a better future in the market.
