Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-HRDM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study primarily aimed to determine the Employment Standard of Fast Food chain in Angono, Rizal. There were a total number of 76 respondents, 20 from Chicken Deli, 22 from Chowking, and 34 from Jollibee. The descriptive method was used to gather information that was relevant to the study. The researchers used questionnaire checklist that was validated by the management of Jollibee Foods Corporation, Chowking Foods Corporation and Chicken Deli which was distributed to 100% of the total number of the respondents. The frequency, percentage and rank distribution were used to determine the profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment position designated, status of employment, monthly income, length of service and type of ownership. Obtained weighted mean, verbal interpretation was used to determine the Employment Standard of Fast Food Chain in Angono, Rizal, in terms of Recruitment and Selection, Appraisal of Performance, Rewards and Incentives, Training and Development of Individual Skills. The One-way Analysis of variance was used to determine the significant difference in the profile of the respondents and their perception on Employment Standard. The findings with respect to the profile of the respondents depicted that majority of the respondents implies that the majority of employees are young adults. Male employees are preferable and suited to work in a fast food chain company especially for service production. Most of the respondents were single and that the latter are more willing to engage in this type of work considering the nature and the risk of the said job. They also tend to hire high School graduate which indicate that their educational attainment is not a basis on choosing right employees for this job. There are different specializations in every position held were in the master all as a prerequisite to the said positions and most of them are Service Crew. It can be generalized that the most of the respondents were contractual and are given the chance to work in the company. for monthly income respondents are not minimum wage earners because they are working in the area of Rizal which complies with provincial rate standard, nor has the capacity to earn a living wage range, length of service of 1 Year and below stated that they allowed employees for a continuous contract as the management of Jollibee Foods Corporation, Chowking Foods Corporation and Chicken Deli is a franchised store In computed weighted mean of the Employment Standard of Fast Food Chain in Angono, Rizal, In terms of Recruitment, Jollibee Foods Corporation, Chowking Foods Corporation an Chicken Deli always follow job positioning. In terms of Selection, they always conduct initial and final Interview. In terms of Performance Appraisal, they always reviewed employee job description during the evaluation and modifications proposed to the job description. In terms of Rewards and Incentives, they always have arisen in salary for a good performance to their top performing employees. And in terms of Training and Development of Individual Skills, they always conduct on the job training or station training. Based on findings and the conclusions, the following recommendations are hereby given for the purpose of developing a better judgment and decisions. The Jollibee Foods Corporation, Chowking Foods Corporation and Chicken Deli must maintain providing various factors under recruitment and selection such as internal and external recruitment, and conducting different kind of interview and test that helps their employees to uplift interest in different things to be consistent as a leading player in the industry. They must continue hiring and giving opportunity to high School graduates and Internship or part time job to those employees who are studying. Resource Management; the various resources in the organization should be managed in the most effective as well as efficient manner. Effective use of Human resource; It would be recommended that proper use of the HR should be done. Each and every employee should be allocated work according to his/her capability.
