Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study aimed to determine the Budget Allocation and Control of Mainland Barangays in Cardona, Rizal Calendar Year 2015. This study used descriptive method of research and questionnaire checklist to determine the present Budget Allocation and Control of Barangays in Cardona, Rizal Calendar Year 2015. The researchers utilized eight (8) mainland barangays in Cardona, Rizal with two (2) barangay officials and twenty (20) residents in each barangay. The data collected were calculated, analyzed and interpreted using different statistical treatments such as frequency, percentage, rank distribution and weighted mean. Based on data gathered in terms of personal profile of respondents, majority of the barangay officials belonged to the aged bracket of 41-50 Years old, female, mostly were married and college graduates. Most of them are barangay secretaries with 1-5 Years in service. On the other hand majority of barangay residents belonged to the age bracket 21-30 Years old, male, mostly were married and attained high School level. Most of them don't have an occupation and were living in their respective barangays within 11 Years and above. With respect to the profile of the barangays, majority has the populations of between 1,501-2,500 residents and has the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) bracket of Php1,000,001-Php2,500,000. With respect to the budget allocation of mainland barangays in Cardona, Rizal, they always maintain a good allocation of their finances. Likewise, they always invoice promptly and clearly in order to have smooth operations of the transactions. ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ Relative to the assumption of the researchers, the following were analyzed: The mainland barangays in Cardona, Rizal have proper budget allocation and control as perceived by its local official and residents. In terms of Budget Allocation and Control of Mainland Barangays Calendar Year 2015, the researchers learned the different budgeting activities for them to have a proper inflows and outflows of budget. The researchers recommend that barangay officials in mainland barangays should continue in providing good services among their constituents with respect to inflows and outflows of budget. They should also continue their transparency in all their transactions; post the summary of budget expenses in the barangay hall so everybody could have seen their financial activities. The researchers also recommended that the barangays should be provided with advance methodology and system to improve their transactions.
