In determining the perception of the respondents, the researchers used the following profile age, sex civil status, educational attainment, Years of employment, position and their respective departments, and the following parameters: accuracy, availability of data, labor intensiveness, reliability, workability, modifiability and applicability. The researchers used the descriptive method of research and random sampling technique in gathering data with a total of 25 respondents. The data collected were analyzed and interpreted using rank, frequency and percentage distribution, weighted mean and two-way analysis of variance. Most of the respondents which are the employees of government hospital in the Province of Rizal. With direct contact with the inventory were young adult and middle-aged, female, married, and college graduate, who have been employed for more than 5 Years, and were assigned in the pharmacy department. According to the general weighted mean of the variables in order to assess the manual inventory system in the province of Rizal, two out of five of the variables are above the general weighted mean. Based on the conclusion drawn, the researchers recommend the institution to continuously improve the manual system through regular maintenance of the inventory in its appropriate stocking levels in consideration of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and safety stock; and validation update of inventory in records pertaining to cost per unit, inventory received and transferred. They may also adapt the existing automated inventory system such as: Barcoding or Digital Tablet. Online Inventory System and On-line Requisition System. The development of an automated inventory system in order to minimize or eradicate the voluminous and recurring transactions making reports quick and real-time and readily available is also encouraged.
