Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study primarily aimed to determine the Risk Management Practices of Apartelles in the First District of Rizal, Calendar Year 2015. The researchers used the descriptive method to describe the present conditions and the respondent's perception to gather all the information needed and the respondents were the employees of the apartelles. The questionnaire checklist was the principal instrument used in collecting the data for this study. Likewise, different statistical treatment was used. Based on the presentation, analysis and interpretation made, the researchers summarize the findings and concluded that: With respect to the profile of the respondents in terms of age thirty-five or 48.6 percent of them were under the bracket of 20 to 24 Years old. Since, they were the most suitable age for the job. Forty-six or 66.7 percent of the respondents were male. Fifty-eight or 80.6 percent of them were single. Most of the respondents in employees were high School graduate only which get the highest frequency of 27 equivalents to 37.5 percent respondents usually income was under the bracket of 4,001-5,000.00 at the same time, much of them were in the service covered through below 1 Year in the apartelle businesses, while in terms of the position 40 or 58.0 percent of the respondents were Room boys. The respondent's perception on the Risk Management Practices ofApartelles in theFirst District of Rizal reveals: In terms of Operational Risk Management, "Conducts routine inspection of vicinity" had a highest mean of 4.66 with a verbal interpretation of "Always" while, "Uses technologies in managing the business firm", obtained the lowest mean of 4.02 as interpret "Often". In terms of Competitive Risk Management, "Housekeeping services are timely and efficient during working hours". Had a highest mean of 4.76 with a verbal interpretation of "Never", while"Guarantees the satisfaction of customers' needs" obtained the lowest mean of 4.50 as interpret "Always". In terms of Hazard risk management,"Provides good work place design or layout to ensure worker safety and efficiency" had a highest mean of 4.88 with a verbal interpretation of "Always", while "Prepares adequate supply of medical products for emergency" obtained the lowest mean of 4.37 as interpret "Often". Furthermore, the researchers recommended thatthe management of the apartelles should provide support to motivate their employees to become more productive; that the management should maintain the existing policies when it comes to social comparison to respect other culture, gender, and character differences. Moreover, the Employees should form a union/organization for the protection of their rights and welfare and maintain harmonious relationship between employer and other staff in order to obtain the efficacy of workmanship. Lastly, the management shouldbe consistent with their goals of satisfying the needs and wants of the employees by enhancing the development of their employment growth.
