This feasibility study entitled Establishment of Bakery Store in Taytay, Rizal. The study aims to determine the viability, feasibility, and profitability of the business. It will be in form of sole proprietorship and is committed to manufacturing high-quality doughnuts made of local products. The products will be manufactured and distributed to Floodway Sitio Lambak, Taytay, Rizal. The proposed business will be established in Blk 22 Sitio Lambak San Juan, Taytay, Rizal with the average population 21,021 and will undergo a lease contract having a measure of 25 sq meters. The business will need a total capital investment of Php 250,000.00. During the operating period, the owner will manage and supervise in assigning duties and responsibilities of the personnel. A production worker and a saleswoman will be hired for the proposed business. In marketing, the researchers conducted surveys and oral interviews of the potential target market in Taytay, Rizal. Thus, proponents come up with the projected demand of 89,112, 92,676, 96,384, 100,239 and 104,248 consecutively from the Year 2017 - 2021 while summing up of 89,856, 93,450, 97,188, 101,076 and 105,119 supply of doughnuts which is enough to cater the wants of the potential target market. Meanwhile, the business will set its penetration price at Php 15.00 per pieces which are lower compared to the other flour confectionary but enough to cover the operating costs yet producing a high-quality business product. The channel of distribution and projected sales and quantity are also determined. In production, the project covers the product specification, the production process, location, and lay-out. Production schedule and cost, as well as the constraints, were determined. Also, the physical facilities and production input are discussed in this aspect. The project also cover tax and legal aspects that are necessary for the establishment of the business. Income earned by the proposed business will be taxed by the government. Fees and licenses required in the establishment of the business are itemized in this part of the study. Financial analyses and estimates of the proposed business are the most important aspect of the study. Various assumptions on the projected cost in the establishment and operation of the business are shown. It also shows the projected income proving how profitable the business is. The study also discusses on how the proposed business will contribute to the community of Taytay, Rizal, particularly in Brgy. Sitio Lambak. The proponents also enumerated some problems that the proposed business might encounter and cited some recommendations.
