Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-HRDM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study aimed to determine the Job Satisfaction of Policewomen in First District of Rizal, Calendar Year 2015-2016. The researchers used 4 police stations in the First District of Rizal. In Angono there were 5 policewomen so as in Binangonan. Taytay has 9 policewomen and Cainta has 6 policewomen, all in all there were 25 policewomen as the total of respondents. The researchers used descriptive method to gather information that is relevant to the study. The researchers used a fully adopted questionnaire checklist through the data of Camp Crame Quezon City, distributed to the Policewomen. Frequency, percentage, rank distribution, mean and one way ANOVA were utilized to determine the Job Satisfaction of Policewomen in the First District of Rizal Calendar Year 2015-2016. Among 25 Policewomen majority were middle age. The researchers found that middle age officers are significantly more productive than older workers and they are generally physically capable of responding to emergencies. They were single in terms of civil status, which means they focused and prioritized their career, family and personal plans. Most of them were below 3-6 Years in service, it only stated that most of them have an experience to the job description while some of them were beginner in the organization. The majority in area assignment were in Taytay because it has the largest number of policewomen. Most of them were PO1 (Police Officer) and it implicates that majority of them were fresh graduate and in basic training of police. Their salary ranges from Php14, 000- Php15, 000 which means that the salary rate of the Policewomen is based on the rank of Police Officer. Most of the policewomen were in administration office to do paper works and they're the one who do the light job. The computed mean on the perception of the respondents on Job Satisfaction of Policewomen in First District of Rizal Calendar Year 2015-2016 in terms of Salary and Benefits, Recognition/Appreciation, Opportunity for Promotion, Working Condition and Career Development was verbally interpreted as "Good" which implies that the organization meet the satisfaction of the policewomen and motivate them to perform well in the work while in Communication, Organizational Policy and Strategy, Authority and Sense of Control, was verbally interpreted as "very good" which means they can easily communicate to other department and fully aware to the rules and policy of the organization. The factors that mostly affect the perception of the respondents were salary and benefits, recognition/appreciation, opportunity for promotion, working condition, career development, communication, organizational policy and strategy, adequate authority and sense of control. It could be concluded that in terms of age, civil status, length of service, rank, area assign, department and monthly salary, there has no significance difference on the respondents' perception; therefore, the study fail to reject the null hypothesis. Based on the conclusions formulated, the researchers recommend that the police officer must continue attending seminars and trainings to imperial and develop their skills, knowledge and ability. They also need to have a strong commitment regarding of their policy and strategy for the success of their organization. lastly, they must give an authority to their subordinate and respect their individual perception.
