Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study primarily aimed to determine the respondent's perception on the financial operation of photo studio businesses in the First District of Rizal for Year 2015 in terms of cash receipt, cash disbursement and cash planning. The researchers used the descriptive method to describe the prevailing status and perception on financial operation of photo studio businesses. Data were used in gathering data from 3 owners, 17 managers and 7 owner-manager, total of 27 and computed, analyzed and interpret using different statistical treatments such as frequency, percentage and rank distribution, one way analysis of variance. From respondent's profile, majority of middle adulthood, male, single and college graduate while in business profile, almost all of them was organized as sole proprietorship; owner's capital was the source of capital; present capital of below P150, 000 and business net income P100, 000. Hence, many of them existed for less than 5 Years of operation and an initial capital of P150, 001 - P362, 500. When it comes to respondents' perception on cash receipt, cash disbursement and cash planning, the acquired grand weighted mean are 3.85, 4.14 and 3.98 with verbal interpretation of often, sometimes and often respectively. In terms of significant difference on the financial operation of photo studio businesses based on profile, data reveal that there was no significant difference. Likewise, based on significant difference on the financial operation of photo studio businesses based on sources of capital and present capital, data indicated that there was no significant difference; hence, there was no significant difference on cash disbursement against Years of operation, cash receipts against initial capital and business net income. It is recommended that the managers should always reconcile deposits and withdrawal from the bank statement; provide reserve cash for contingency cases; and always cash payment from customers while for cash disbursement, the managers must always use the business capital for business operation; maintains sufficient petty cash every day; invest excess funds to high yield investment; and requires owner's approval before disbursing funds. For cash planning, always look for other ways on how to increase capital like establishing good relationship with the bank and other lending institution.
