Dissertation note: Thesis BSBA-FM University of Rizal System, Binangonan 2017 Summary: This study determined the Cash Management of Funeral Homes in the First District of Rizal Calendar Year 2015. The study was conducted in First District of Rizal that includes Angono, Binangonan, Cainta and Taytay to determine the Cash Management and Services of the different Funeral Homes which emphasis on the Cash Receipt, Cash Disbursement and the Services that they provide for their customers. To know if there was a proper recording and strict monitoring of transactions and if the services that they provide are applicable and used. The researchers used the descriptive method through a five-part questionnaire checklist partially adopted from approved thesis. First part was the profile of the respondent's in terms of age, sex, civil status and highest educational attainment. Second part was the business profile in terms of ownership, Years of existence, present capitalization and sources of capital. Third part was the respondents' perception on Cash Management and Services of Funeral Homes through Cash Receipt and Cash Disbursement. Fourth part was the Services Offered and lastly was the Problem Encountered by the Funeral Homes and Services with regards to material and supplies. Based on the findings of the study, the researchers summarized and conduct the following. Part one with respect to the profile of the respondents, 36.0 percent were 42-49 Years old. Majority were male and married. Most of them were college graduate and they are the owner. Part two with respect to the business profile,76.0 percent were sole proprietorship, majority were existing 5 Years below and has a present capitalization of 100,000.00- 50,001.00. In terms of location, funeral businesses were mainly located Cainta with a percentage of 40.0 percent. Part three with respect to the perception of the respondents on Cash Management and Services of Funeral Homes with respect to the Cash Receipt/Inflows, assign the responsibility of handling cash receipt to only one person obtained the highest mean of 4.92 which verbally interpreted as Always. In Cash Disbursement/outflows, purchases supplies and materials when needed arise obtained the highest mean of 4.88 percent and verbally interpreted as Always. Part four with respect to services offered wherein providing personalized casket ranked first with percentage of 96.0 percent And lastly, part five that shows the problems encountered with regards to materials and supplies wherein the fluctuating cost of material is their main problem with a percentage of 76.0 percent. The researchers formulated some recommendation to the study such as the management should maintain operating procedures on cash receipts and cash disbursement. Maintain a good business relationship to the customer to have a good image or reputation. Improve the services they offered to the customer. Likewise, investing excess cash that yield to maximum benefit to the company must be considered to have continuous business operation and for the business to live a long time.
