Undergraduate Thesis

The study aimed to find out the effectiveness of integrating color games in leaming probability. The respondents were composed of 100 selected students divided into two groups wherein the group were classified as control group and the other were experimental group

The researchers used the Pretest-Posttest control group design of experimental method research.

The mean scores of both the experimental group and control group during the pretest and posttest increased from 10.72(poor) to 22.06(satisfactory) and 9.24(poor) to 15.36(fair), respectively. There was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean scores of control group and experimental group as the p-value did not exceed 0.05 level of significance. There was a significant difference between the posttest mean scores by the control group and experimental group as the p-value did not exceed 0.05 level of significance. According to the questions presented by the researchers during the interview conducted, all of the students thinks that the COLOR GAMES is effective in learning probability because they found it helpful to understand the lesson quickly, it helps them to understand the lesson easier and catches their attention to participate in discussions. It also makes the lesson, attractive, catchy, and makes the problem easily to identify
