The findings of the study revealed that the mean scores of the posttest were higher than the mean scores of the pretest of the two (2) groups of respondent; the mean score of the experiment group was higher than the score of the control group and it shows that the experimental group acquired more knowledge and comprehension after the exposure to the developed E-learning module; the performance of the control and experimental group as revealed by the pretest and posttest result was found to be significantly different with respect to the different short stories and the effectiveness of the developed E-learning module was found to be "Very High" with respect to all short stories. Based on the findings of the study, the pupils who were exposed to the developed E-learning module performed better than the pupils who did not use the material with respect to the different short stories as revealed by their posttest scores; the developed E-learning module is acceptable and effective material in teaching English for Grade 3; and the developed E-learning module serves as valuable tool for an effective teaching-learning process as revealed by its high acceptability among teacher's respondents.
