EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was conducted to determine the communication technology and family relationship of college of science students in University of Rizal System Morong Campus during the school year 2014-2015. The study covered all the courses of College of Science in URSM. The variable used are text-based communication and face-to-face medium of the family relationship of the students. The aspects are greater intimacy, interpersonal rapport and warmth of the family relationship of the students in college of Science in University of Rizal System Morong. The researchers made some variable materials and gathered data through readings and research for the better understanding of the study. The study used the method of research utilizing researcher-made questionnaire checklist as the instrument in gathering data to determine the relationship of communication technology and family relationship of College of Science Students. Based from the summary of findings and conclusions, majority of the respondents are 1st yr, 2nd yr, 3rd yr and 4th year. of college of science students. They used communication technology in connecting to the family relationship. They encountered long distance relationship with their family, which give them a chance to prove that they can maintain their family relationship. The following recommendations were formulated in order to create a strong family relationship of the students. It is essential to use the technology in proper way to communicate to other people. The result of the study served as basis for the training of the family for communication technology and family relationship and parallel study may be conducted using other variables that can broaden or give more clarification on the study.
