The study aimed to determine the effects of peer tutoring program on the mathematical performance of slow learners. This was conducted at Kasiglahan Village National High School during the school year 2014-2015. The subjects of the study were the sixty Grade 8 slow learners. Slow learners in this study were those who attainede a scholastic raiting of B. (Beginning) or D (Developing) in the first grading period. Cluster sampling, simple random sampling by application of lottery technique and proportional sampling were were used to divide th samples between the six group of study.
