Dissertation note: Undergraduate theses Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics University of Rizal System Rodriguez, Rizal year of 2024 Summary: The researchers utilized a quantitative descriptive survey method of study to determine the Learning Styles in Mathematics of the Grade 11 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students at San Jose Litex Senior High School. The researchers administered a face-to-face survey to the randomly selected 90 respondents. The questions consisted of their profile, such as sex, monthly family income, number of siblings, and highest educational attainment of the parents. The findings of the study were as follows, on the profile of the respondents, males and females had an equal representation of 45 individuals in each gender category. The percentages highlight a balanced distribution, with females constituting 50% and males accounting for 50% of the total respondents; most of them had a family monthly income of Php 5,000 or less making it the most prevalent income bracket; a significant portion of respondents (45.56%) reported having 3-4 siblings, reflecting a noteworthy family size; and most of the respondents' highest educational attainment of the parents belong to the college graduate. The learning styles respondents strongly endorse in terms of auditory learning styles, the respondents favoring practices are speaking aloud, sitting in the front of the classroom, and using background music for increased concentration; under the visual leaming styles the respondents strongly endorse practices such as sketching notes, creating drawings, using flashcards, reading notes before exams, and applying color-coding techniques; in terms of bodily-kinesthetic learning style, inventive approaches such as inventing dance steps, incorporating math-related challenges into physical activities, engaging in rhythmic methods, using sports statistics for mathematical analysis, and employing gestures or body motions are highlighted.
