Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Elementary Education

This study aimed to determine the challenges encountered by Bachelor of Elementary Education students during their internship. This study was conducted in University of Rizal System Rodriguez Campus during the School Year 2021-2022 with the total of 10 respondents. To attain the objective of the study, the researchers formulated questions regarding the student teachers lived experiences in their cooperating schools.
Based on the data collected, interpreted, and analyzed the researchers came up with the following findings.
The student teachers described their experiences during their internship in their cooperating schools by means of telling their experiences in the aspects of schedule of classes dealing with the cooperating teacher, dealing with the pupils and lastly preparation for lirual demonstration. With their experiences, they are physically, emotionally and mentally challenge with these specific events that happened in their life as student teacher. On the other hand, they are still willing to take risk, learn mors and motivated in becoming a teacher someday.
During their internship, student teachers faced challenges with lesson planning. experiencing confusion about content and difficulty finding references. They also encountered obstacles in executing lessons, particularly when dealing with disruptive classes, necessitating attention to classroom management. Additionally, they dealt with Inappropriate student behaviors, such as leaving without permission or running in the corridors
With the enumerated findings the following conclusions were drawn
The participants mostly suggested that when it comes to teaching, all teachers should be passionate. They should be dedicated in giving all their time and energy in their profession, and then they should seek assistance from their co-teachers so that they would be helped in understanding further their lessons.
The students of the student teachers need to treat the assigned student teachers to their class just like the treatment that they gave to their teacher. They should participate actively and do the task that their student teachers gave to them. Also, they should not show any inappropriate behaviors and attitudes when their student teacher is around.
The Administration and teachers guide the students in the good way. They can play a role in every student's academic, personal and social development. Also, they can help to motivate and have a potential to achieve their goals.
