This study aimed to determine the status of MAPEH program in San Jose National High School (SJNHS) The respondents randomly selected from SNHS 4th year students SY 2009-2010.

This study made use of descriptive method using questionnaire checklist as the main instrument in gathering data

The following statistical treatinent was used for the data analysis: To determine the profile of the respondents in terras of age, gender frequency, percentage, rank and distribution were used; To determine the status of implementation of the MAРЕН program in SJNHS as perceived by MAPEH teachers and selected fourth year students in terms of objectives, course content, instructional facilities, teaching methodology, and evaluation techniques, mean was applied; To determine the significant difference

between the perceptions of the students in terms of age and gender in the status of MAPEH program, the Two Way Anova was used to test the hypothesis.

From the gathered data, the following findings were drawn: On the profile of the teacher-respondents, in terms of sex, males outnumbered females wherein the former had frequency of 3 or 75 percent while the latter had 1 or 25 percent. In terms of age, both age brackets 25-35 and 36-45 had the same frequency of 2 Or 50 percent. In terms of educational attainment, there was only 1 or 25 percent with master's degree while 3 or 75 percent with bachelor's degree. In terms of Teaching Physical Education, there were 3 or 75 percent whose teaching experience ranged from 5 to 10 years while 1 or 25 percent had 1 to 5 years. On the profile of the student-respondents, in terms of sex, majority of the respondents were female with a frequency of 97 Or 57.06 percent while males had a frequency of 73 or 42.94 percent. On the status of MAPEH program, in terms of objectives, both faculty and students rated Objectives very good. The average means were 4.16 and 3.93 respectively. In terms of administration, faculty gave it a mean of 4.30 verbally interpreted outstanding while students gave it a mean of 4.02 verbally interpreted very good. In terms of facilities, faculty unfavourably rated it fairly with a total mean of 2.01 while students gave it 2.65 verbally interpreted Good. In terms of equipment. the faculty rated it better than students. The former's total mean for this section was 3.40 verbelly interpreted good while the latter's total mean was 2.55 verbally interpreted fair. On the significant difference, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. Therefore, there was no significant d'fference between the status of MAPEH programs and the profile of the respondents.

In the fight of findings, the following were hereby recommended by the researchers: The School Administrators should look into the findings of the study as basis for planning and improving MAPEH program. The MAPEH Teachers should be sent to trainings regularly so as to keep them abreast of the current trends in MAPEH and Development because they need more educational growth. The MAPEH Students would be the most benefited group once the recommendations to this study be given due consideration
