Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor in Secondary Education Major In English University of Rizal System-Morong 2024 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: To address the lack of gender inclusivity in learning materials, this study aimed to develop gender–sensitive activities in English 8 in the form of a teacher’s guide utilizing a researcher’s-made pre-survey questionnaire and evaluation tool, and the LRMDS Evaluation Sheet for Print Resources in order to come up with accurate results and evaluation for the material. The pre-survey was validated by five English teachers, and two experts who have a position in Gender and Development. Thereafter, it was answered by 20 English teachers from DepEd High Schools in Morong, Teresa, and Cardona Rizal. Furthermore, the material was developed using the data gathered and by utilizing Canva; an online productivity application. Finally, the developed material was validated by five English teachers, and evaluated by ten other English teachers and three Gender experts. In conclusion, the teacher’s guide for Gender-Sensitive Activities for English 8 is acceptable in terms of content, format, presentation and organization, and accuracy and up-to-datedness of information, Additionally, the developed material highly conforms to the Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy (DepEd Order No. 32, s. 2017), and the Gender-Inclusive Pedagogy Theory by Rennie (1998).
