Dissertation note: Graduate Study Thesis Master of Arts in Teaching major in Mathematics University of Rizal System Rodriguez Rizal 2025 Summary: Mathematics remains a significant challenge for many students, often leading to low performance and disengagement, particularly in Grade 9, where abstract concepts demand higher order thinking and problem-solving skills. This study examined the effectiveness of e-module on variation in improving Grade 9 students performance in Mathematics. Using a mixed method research approach through sequential explanatory design, the study integrated the quantitative and qualitative data to assess the intervention's impact. A total of 165 students from Judge Feliciano Belmonte Sr. High School participated, randomly assigned to two experimental groups which utilized the e-module and one control group receiving conventional instruction, and one control group that received conventional instruction. Data collection included pretests and posttests to assess academic performance, along with interviews and observations to capture students' learning experiences and perceptions. Results revealed that all groups improved in their posttest mean scores, and with the help of digital tools like the e-module, the experimental groups showed notable gains in student performance Student feedback supported the findings, highlighting increased motivation, engagement, and confidence due to the e-module's interactive features. These tools helped clarify abstract concepts and support knowledge application. The study concludes that while conventional methods remain valuable, integrating e-modules enhances learning and is recommended for improving outcomes in challenging subjects.
