Study habits play a crucial role in individual learning and academic performance. Productive study requires conceptualization and intention, including skills like note-taking, observation, asking questions, listening, thinking, and discovering new information. Learners should be interested in learning and be able to apply needed skills. In this research, the study was conducted at the University of Rizal System Rodriguez, focusing on Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics students between the first and third years. The researchers used a descriptive method to describe the population and personal profiles of the respondents, and quantitative research was used to gather data through survey questionnaires. The results showed that students generally have positive study habits, indicating strong focus and time management. Students performing well in mathematics, indicating a high level of achievement and proficiency in the subject. There is a significant relationship between study habits in terms of focus and time management and performance. Good study habits in focus and time management lead to better academic performance. Students who focus well and manage their time effectively tend to do better in the subject. Recommendations for future researchers include encouraging parents to develop strong study habits, investigating additional factors influencing study habits and academic performance, providing guidance and resources to help students improve their study habits, encouraging active engagement in class discussions, seeking clarification when needed, and participating in group activities to enhance focus and understanding. School administrators should support study habits and academic performance by implementing workshops or seminars focused on study skills, time management, and effective leaming strategies. Providing resources such as school planners or digital tools can also help students manage their time and stay organized. Monitoring and assessing the impact of intervention programs is essential to continually refine and enhance support for students' study habits and academic performance.
