This study focused on Development and Acceptability of Multi-purpose Baking Table as an Instructional Material for Food Subject. It was conducted at Benjamin Esguerra Memorial National High School, Taytay and Cainta, Rizal during the school year 2017-2018. This study aimed to helps students and teachers in their Food Subject regarding their baking activity.
There were 10 Professional from Benjamin B. Esguerra Memorial National High School that is teaching TLE subject and 10 experts from Taytay and Cainta, Rizal who were experienced making a table. The respondents were chosen through purposive sampling technique.
The study used the developmental method of research. The study was evaluated in terms of functionality, efficiency, safety and instructional applicability using the Likert scale. Weighted mean and standard deviation were used as statistical tools of the study.
The main objective of the study was to develop a multi-purpose baking table to suit in food subject for demonstration and activities will the students could focused on the actual learning.
Based on the acceptability of the developed multi-purpose baking table in terms of functionality, obtained an average weighted mean of 4.9 and verbally interpreted as very much acceptable; in terms of efficiency, obtained an average weighted mean of 4.5 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted; in terms of safety, obtained an average weighted mean of 4.5 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted; and in terms of instructional applicability, obtained an average weighted mean of 4.6 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted.
Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that the developed multi-purpose baking table is functional, efficiency, safety and instructional applicability; and is very much acceptable to be used as an instructional material.
Based on the result of the study, the researchers recommend that the Developed Multi-purpose Baking Table should be used as an Instructional Material for teaching Food Subject.
